Film Club

We have an archive of local stories – films donated to us, and created by us. We want to bring these to YOUR LIVING ROOM. So join us on the last day of the month, every month, to see local stories: home videos, past events, your relatives and friends and their relatives and friends, both current and going back 50 years – and further!

Next Event: Mr Chitty: Vol 1

Goes Live at 6pm 30th June

On the 30th June we bring you a very special installment: Mr Chitty, who as a boy lived in the newly built Elan Village and reminicises a great deal about what it was like. He was recorded many years ago in his old age, and we are so very grateful that this film survives to be shown to you.

Watching is easy. There is no need to sign up or download anything – just click on the button that says “watch now” on the film club page on our website and you will be shown the film along with everyone else watching, just like in a cinema, but you’re actually at home in front of your computer. There is also a chat feature so you can talk with the rest of the audience about what you’re seeing as well.

If you have any questions at all about how to watch or join in, or about the films themselves do send us a message or an email to project@carad.org.uk. We hope to see you there!
