Carnival

This popular event is one of the longest running carnivals in Wales, having recently celebrated 120 years. It runs for a week prior to Carnival Day, 19th July 2025.

After a week of entertaining events in the community, Carnival Day on Saturday 19th July 2025 will see a procession of floats through the streets of Rhayader, followed by activities in the Groe Park, Cwmdauddwr afterwards.

CARAD will be supporting this event, as usual, with a stall on the Carnival field.
