Cath Allan

Cath Allan – Chair of Trustees and Co-Director

Cath is a founder member of the charity and has spent her career in community development and the creative industries. She is an artist with an interest in health and wellbeing. Cath continues to be involved with CARAD and is a strong advocate of the positive personal and community changes CARAD has facilitated. She is motivated by seeing the significant social and economic impact that arts and heritage work can have on a locality.

Krysia Bass

Krysia Bass – Co-Director

Krysia has been involved with CARAD since the beginning, working in many roles from volunteer, workshop leader, exhibition creator and is currently a Trustee and Co- Director alongside Cath. When not in the office, she can be found at her allotment or printing her own fabric to then turn into useful and colourful items!

Pete Cox

Pete Cox MBE – Trustee

Pete is a playwright and screenwriter, and the official CARAD Dragon Wrangler! He’s been involved with CARAD since 1991 and was Chair of Trustees for 12 years. As a current Trustee, Pete provides strategic sectoral knowledge and guidance and is responsible for site and building matters, exhibition construction and delivering events.

Heather Curry - Trustee

Heather Curry - Trustee

Heather has been a long-term volunteer with CARAD. A chartered librarian by trade, more recently she worked in the field of mediation, acquiring useful skills, and since retirement has experience of volunteering with several organisations.

Tess Mitchell

Tess Mitchell - Trustee

Tess has been a long-term volunteer and Trustee, assisting in many capacities, from creative installations to digital support. As a current Trustee, Tess brings experience of volunteering for a number of organisations, specifically with young people and advocacy for disability matters.
